If your child is entitled to Early Years funding, we offer a range of different session times for you to access your funding.

We have limited ‘term time only’ spaces, and these are given on a first come, first served basis.

If you are entitled to 15 free hours per week, we offer the following sessions:

  • Morning session – 8am to 1pm
  • Afternoon session – 1 to 6pm
  • Full day session – 8am to 6pm

If your child is entitled to the 30 hour funding, we offer two different ways for you to spread this funding:

30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year – this is called ‘non stretch funding’ and you will be charged for all school holidays that you attend.

24 hours per week for 48 weeks of the year – this is called ‘stretch funding’ and you will be charged for the other weeks.  These change each year according to things like when the school holidays are and when Easter falls, for example.  A calendar of dates are posted on Tapestry, our online service for parents.

We have limited 30 hour term time only spaces and again, these are available on a first come, first served basis.

Stretch funding can be taken in various ways, for example:

  • 7.30am – 3.30pm
  • 8am – 4pm
  • 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • 9am – 5pm

If you want to add on additional hours to your free entitlement, these will be charged at the daily rate for full or half days, or a top up hourly rate of £6.80 per hour.

The free entitlement does not cover meals, so if you want us provide your entitlement in a way that includes taking our meals, we will make a charge for this and you can see this on our fees page.  Please speak to a member of staff about the different ways we can provide for your food requirements.
